ERG to Support Climate Change Communications in California

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) recently awarded ERG a contract to develop a communication plan that will strengthen collaboration within the agency and among external partners to address climate change issues. The communication plan will include best practices and processes for Caltrans to follow on climate change communications overall, while particularly focusing on the agency’s current series of climate change vulnerability assessment reports for the 12 Caltrans districts (and forthcoming adaptation plans for each). This project capitalizes on ERG’s strong blend of climate science expertise and communications planning skills.
