ERG’s Ian Todreas Helps Develop Certification Exam for Transportation Professionals

The national Association for Commuter Transportation selected ERG vice president Ian Todreas to join a dozen national subject matter experts in developing the nation’s first certification exam for transportation demand management (TDM) professionals. Mr. Todreas contributed a valuable perspective on federal voluntary partnerships, climate change, and behavior change and communications best practices to help generate more than 150 peer-reviewed test questions that will serve as the core material for the exam, which is expected to launch later this year. “Creating this certification program will be invaluable to TDM practitioners,” commented Todreas. “They will now be able to distinguish and define themselves professionally, just like architects, planners, engineers, and many others.”
