EPA Launches ERG-Supported 2016 Toxics Release Inventory National Analysis Website

ERG is proud to have supported the 2016 Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) National Analysis, which EPA released last week. The TRI National Analysis is an interactive website that highlights the most recent chemical release data submitted annually to EPA by more than 20,000 industrial facilities in the United States. ERG helped EPA with all aspects of the website’s overall development, data analysis, and visual design to help EPA promote user engagement and exploration of annual TRI data. This year’s data show that industrial facilities have decreased releases of TRI chemicals by 58 percent (829 million pounds) since 2006.
