ERG Wins Three New Massachusetts Environmental Contracts

ERG was recently awarded three new contracts with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. For the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection (MassDEP) ERG will help update the Massachusetts Nonpoint Source Management Plan. The plan outlines an overarching strategy and specific actions to reduce the state’s nonpoint source pollution and improve water quality. In a second contract with MassDEP, ERG will help the state comply with the Clean Water Act by listing waterbodies for water quality classification, performing water quality monitoring and modeling, and supporting other aspects of permitting and compliance. Finally, ERG will develop a strategy to reinvent the Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game’s Division of Ecological Restoration Water Quality Restoration Program for more community engagement and improved restoration progress.
