ERG Supports the Airport Cooperative Research Program’s First Insight Event

On March 6–7, 2018, the Airport Cooperative Research Program held its first ever Insight Event to bring stakeholders across various industries together to discuss and exchange ideas about topics of emerging importance to airports. ERG spent more than a year researching the topic, organizing a planning committee, recruiting national and international experts, and planning the logistics around the meeting. The event focused on airport roles in reducing the transmission of communicable disease and attracted national and international experts in infectious diseases, emergency response, and airport operations. Next year, ERG will support a second Insight Event on lessons learned from public-private partnerships at airports.
