Dr. Will Morgan is a licensed environmental engineer with more than a decade of experience in environmental and computer science. He specializes in the development of environmental computational tools, including modeling software, large-scale databases, and applications to streamline data analysis. He is experienced in leading teams of scientists and developers through different phases of program design, including identification of feature requirements, user interface design, program development, and final testing. Will’s proficiency in multiple programming languages and his strong background evaluating contaminant fate and transport and environmental exposures enable him to develop high-quality technical products quickly and efficiently.

Will’s support for the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry includes development of ATSDR’s Shower and Household Water-Use Exposure Model for simulating indoor air exposures to volatile contaminants in water, ATSDR’s Exposure Point Concentration Tool for calculating EPCs of environmental sampling data, and ATSDR’s R vapintr package for modeling vapor intrusion. He has also managed ERG’s support for ATSDR site investigations including, most notably, ATSDR’s vapor intrusion public health assessment at the U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.  

Will holds a Ph.D. in environmental engineering and M.S. degrees in civil and environmental engineering from Georgia Tech. When not at work, he greatly enjoys reading and relaxing with his family.
