Cena Swisher is a vice president and senior communications specialist in ERG’s Strategic Communications Group with a keen ability to make the science behind complex topics more accessible and understandable to a wide range of audiences. For over 20 years, she has provided strategic communications, outreach, and public engagement support to public sector clients, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency; National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration; and Fairfax County and Arlington County, Virginia. Her work has spanned all facets of public outreach and stakeholder engagement—from strategic planning, content creation, and marketing to webinar and meeting support—and a wide range of topics, including climate, sustainability, energy, pollution prevention, transportation, and public health and safety.

Cena holds a B.A. in history and political science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland. A DC-area native, she frequently indulges her healthy obsession with all DC professional sports teams and loves spending time with family and friends.
