ERG Fprob Lookup Utility
ERG’s Fprob Lookup Utility is designed to find the rate at which
a given vehicle type historically fails the I/M inspection. This
historical failure rate can be a factor in determining the vehicle
type’s probability of failure during a later I/M inspection
(hence the term Fprob).
The user has simply to enter a VIN, or multiple VINs, into the
program by way of an input file. After the program runs, the Fprob
for those vehicles will be output. Accordingly, the Fprob Lookup
Utility is most attractive to people involved in the technical design
and administration of I/M programs.
ERG is now offering a Windows version of the Fprob Lookup Utility.
The Windows version includes:
- VIN decodes current through the 2002 model year.
- Fprob lookups that incorporate I/M data through October 2002.
- Technical support.
Retail price for the Fprob Lookup Utility is $17,000.
