“Our Health Is in Our Hands” Campaign Reaches 1.4 Million People in Fairfax County

A public health campaign urging people to slow the spread of COVID-19 reached more than 1.4 million people in Fairfax County, Virginia. The campaign successfully increased awareness of simple actions people can take to prevent COVID-19. Campaign ads aired on social media platforms, search and display networks, and streaming services. Across all platforms, an average of more than 250,000 adults—about one-fifth of the local population—engaged with an ad, and the campaign’s video public service announcement was played fully 500,000 times.
