Chi Ho Sham Joins ERG as Chief Scientist and Vice President

ERG welcomes Chi Ho Sham as a chief scientist and vice president in its drinking water and water quality practice. Chi Ho has had a long and distinguished career as an environmental consultant, with a focus on drinking water, source water protection, and underground injection control. He is a national expert in drinking water protection, including the geological sequestration of carbon dioxide and the impact of hydraulic fracturing for unconventional oil and gas extraction on underground sources of drinking water. Chi Ho is an active member and volunteer of the American Water Works Association, who named him Volunteer of the Year in July 2016. Chi Ho also serves as adjunct professor in the Department of International Development, Community, and Environment at Clark University.

Chi Ho will contribute to ERG’s long-standing work with EPA, other federal agencies, state governments, and nonprofits on a wide variety of industrial wastewater, municipal wastewater, storm water, and water conservation projects.
