Homeland Security
ERG builds tools and conducts analyses to provide vital homeland security information where and when it is needed. When faced with a significant incident, authorities must make critical decisions rapidly. We develop and assemble crucial information and decision support tools so that government and community decision-makers can respond to incidents, ranging from earthquakes to chemical releases, with timely and accurate intelligence in a safe and effective manner. Officials have used ERG products to aid responses to natural disasters such as Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and the California wild fires, and to aid participants in event simulations.
