Laura Harwood
Vice President
ERG’s commitment to respect, kindness, and compassion has given me an incredible foundation to serve our clients and help preserve the environment to the best of my abilities.
Laura Harwood, an ERG vice president, supports clients in designing grant programs and administering grants in all lifecycle stages, including grant program promotion, tracking of applications and awards, measuring progress and evaluating results, and continuous program improvement based on lessons learned. Her first project out of grad school was analyzing the state pollution prevention (P2) grant program for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency—a program she still supports 30 years later. Laura currently manages ERG’s support to EPA's P2 program, including design of two new grant programs, development of reporting forms and associated information collection request packages, creation of a grants database, case study development, and documenting successes.
Laura holds a B.A. in political science from The Johns Hopkins University and an M.P.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs. When she’s not traveling or listening to live music, Laura enjoys spending time at home with her husband and cats.
