Andy Loll

Senior Chemical Engineer

Working in compliance and enforcement, including conducting inspections, has given me an opportunity to see directly how environmental requirements affect regulated facilities—from gas stations to complex chemical plants and refineries. I enjoy providing technical solutions and regulatory assessments to help facilities understand and meet applicable requirements and, ultimately, help make our environment a healthier and safer place to work and live.

Andy Loll, a senior chemical engineer, is an expert in process engineering and environmental compliance. During his career at ERG, he has served a wide variety of environmental regulatory evaluation and compliance programs at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and other federal clients. He currently leads ERG’s work to support EPA enforcement of fuel, vehicle, and engine regulations, and he also leads the ERG team that supports EPA’s chemical risk management program in reducing or eliminating environmental releases of hazardous substances.

Andy began his career at Dow Chemical Company, where he worked as an operations and capital projects engineer. This gave him real-world experience with chemical processes and implementation of safety and environmental programs in a manufacturing setting, which allows him to bring a practical perspective to his ERG work and clients.

Andy holds a B.S. and M.S. in chemical engineering from Michigan Technological University. He enjoys his time away from the office gardening, biking, and traveling.
